With crystalline rivers paving their way through many a gorge and gully, here the essence of the wild remains as pristine and untouched as it ever was. We will take you through the ancient paths used by the people of old, where you will soak in the spirit of the true highlanders, brave men and women who have once treaded these lands, conquering the unknown.

What’s included in the price?
To maximize convenience, we include as much as possible, so you can just relax and think about riding. Here’s what’s included:
• Total 3 nights. 2 Nights in mountain chalets and 1 night in a four star hotel (based on sharing a twin or double room)
• Full use of all pool facilities
• All meals. Breakfast and dinner at the hotels and mountain huts. Lunch as lunch package.
• One off road jeep adventure
• 2 days of guided hike adventure
• All local transfers
• Ticket for national park
• Airport transfers from/to Podgorica airport
You will need to cover flights; insurance and extra spend. You’ll need to book your flights to and from Podgorica, travel insurance and cover other personal expenses (etc. Drinks, suveniers, ..).
What’s the hike like?
The hike is easy and moderate. First day is hike, that last 5 to 6 hours, with easy pace. You will walk on mountain trail. It is safe and solid. It can be windy and cold because it is more than 2.000 above sea level. Second day is easy hike around lake, and some easy hike on Bjelasica mountain slopes.
What’s the jeep ride like?
It will take around 2 hours in remote parts on Montenegrin mountains.The jeeps are driven by professional drivers.
What skills/experience/fitness do I need?
You need basic fitness level. No previous hiking experience needed. Your guide will give you full instructions and a safety briefing at the start.
What do I need to bring with me?
We recommend you bring:
• Hiking shoes
• Hiking pants
• Clothes in layers – for hot and cold parts of the night.
• Some pocket money
• Some rucksack.
• Water bottle
What are the guides like?
All the activities on this trip will be led in English by qualified and professional local guides.
What’s the food like?
All food is local and is freshly cooked, hearty mountain meals. These include domestic cheese and other local milk products, dry meat specialties, fish, local fruit, fresh fruit and vegetable. We can organize your meal in the way you like. The drinks are not included.
Can my dietary requirements be catered to?
Absolutely. Just let us know when you fill in your travel documents.
When can I go on this trip?
Book on to our pre-set dates above. If you are considering alternative dates, the perfect time for this adventure is between May and October.
What’s the weather like?
Summer and early autumn are the best periods to visit this region. In summer the average temperature can be around is 28 degrees, on the mountain is little colder in the evening. Autumn is slightly chillier but still really pleasant and colors are stunning. In the spring, on some parts of the mountain there still can be some snow parts.
Which flights should I book?
You should book flights to Podgorica airport (Montenegro capital) or Tivat airport.
How do I meet the transfer?
At your arrival, the transfer will be holding a sign with the name of the tour. We’ll give you all extra details before travelling.
How big will the group be?
This trip will run with a minimum of 4 people, and a maximum of 12. Please note, if there are not 4 people booked the trip may be rearranged or cancelled. Please contact us for confirmation before booking your flights, or book with a credit card.
Can I customise the trip?

I enjoyed EST expeditions and made very good friends, who I have been in regular contact with ever since.
